Things To Do While You're Here

Looking for some fun things to do while you’re here? Table Rock Lake offers 850 miles of shoreline to explore, and Shell Knob is one of the main tourist destinations on the lake.

Let's Go Play On The Lake!

Want a quiet day just lazing on a pontoon boat?  Or  maybe the thrill of speed with a zippy watercraft? However you like to spend your days on the water, Table Rock Lake is the perfect place to be. Swimming, boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing and jet skiing are just waiting for you here on the quiet side of the lake.

After a long day on the water, we suggest dining at one of our local eateries, most of which are convenient to the resort.

Let’s Go Fishing!

In early spring many species of fish swim up the Kings River to spawn. Walleye start moving upriver in February, followed by white bass, black bass, small mouth bass, crappie and catfish. Some of the biggest fish of the year are caught late March through early June.

Shell Knob is host to many fishing tournaments throughout the year, including the spring and fall Shriners' Open Bass Tournaments and the Homer Sloan Buddy Bass Tournament in October.

Just 32 minutes west is Roaring River State Park, known for its premier trout fishing. The river is stocked regularly by the Park's hatchery, which is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Kids will love Roaring River Water Slide, owned locally for 36 years and just a short drive from the state park.

Let’s Go Shopping!

There are several unique shops in Shell Knob: The Red Barn Flea Market, The Old Church Gallery and Ski & Sports. Don’t forget about our local Farmers Market!

Less than an hour south is Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a Victorian town nestled in the Arkansas hills. You'll enjoy the distinctive shops and galleries, excellent restaurants, wine tasting, spas, musical variety shows, an 1800’s antique train yard and historic haunted hotels.  It’s easy to spend a day in Eureka Springs.

Let's Take the Kids Somewhere Special!
